Deep Creek View Campground

The coffee pot is always on!

View from our Alaska Campground

Deep Creek View Campground is located on the bluff overlooking Cook Inlet, with incredible views of Mt. Redoubt, Mt. Iliamna, and Alaska’s exceptional sunsets. Our family-owned campground lies between Ninilchik and Deep Creek rivers, which offer fabulous salmon fishing along their banks. (View Map and Directions).  We are open May through Labor Day each year.

Jenny

Camp Manager Jenny Aamodt will assist you with your camping and fish charter reservations. Check out our camping news for latest information on what’s been happening in the Ninilchik area and our campground.

We provide electrical hookups for motorhomes, campers, and pop-ups. Or pitch a tent in our grassy areas. Cabin rentals are also available at the campground. All pets are welcome, but they must be on a leash. Camping reservations are encouraged–our electrical hookups go quickly for Salmonstock weekend (first weekend of August) and due to the large crowd during that popular weekend, dry camping is “first come, first serve.”  View our prices online.

We provide free coffee and friendly service, so stop by and visit us!

Other Things to Do

The whole family will enjoy fishing on the rivers near our family-owned campground, or visit Ninilchik’s historical sites like the Russian Orthodox Church and old Ninilchik Village.  Ninilchik is  home to the Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds, has a couple of gift shops, a library, a General Store, gas station, liquor stores, several churches, a senior center, and a few restaurants to choose from. Homer is just over 30+ miles south and offers several gift shops, a movie theatre, sightseeing adventures, and many restaurants; and Soldotna is just over 30+ miles north with lots of restaurant options, sporting good stores, etc. Or, do beach combing along the shore line, or even catch the excitement at the campground when the fishing charters arrive with their daily catch. Or, just sit at your camp site and enjoy the Bald Eagles and beautiful Alaska sunsets.
